The multicoupler WSDU-1X8ER is especially designed for large-scale distribution systems. It distributes input signals to eight channels. This high dynamic device offers an extremely wide bandwith and covers the frequency range 20 MHz to 8000 MHz. A device version with external device monitoring via LAN and USB is also available.

WSDU-1X8ER distributes input signals to eight channels covering the frequency range 20 MHz to 8000 MHz. This frequency range includes for example Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The distributed signals are available at the outputs without any loss in level. Due to its high bandwidth, signals of various frequencies can be distributed with a single RF cable. This saves costs for RF cabling in facilities.

Every device is equipped with a LED which signals the device health. Additionally, a version with extended device monitoring function is available. Via LAN interface, operating points of the amplifier, the device temperature and identification data of the device can be queried remotely. For local check, the device is equipped with an USB interface. The device with extended monitoring function is able to identify failures and automatically inform the supervising system.

All devices of the WSDU series are designed in 19” 1 U. This allows operating the device in 19” racks or using it as a tabletop device in laboratory setups. The device is supplied using mains voltage.

Several WSDU-1X8ER can be cascaded. Also other modules and devices of the WSDU series can be connected with WSDU-1X8ER in order to build scalable systems. Using the wide range of products of the WSDU series, different customer request can be considered.

WSDU-1X8ER is able to distribute signals from different sources like antennas or signal generators. WSDU-1X8ER can be used for distribution of WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. These frequencies are used for V2V („Vehicle-to-Vehicle“) applications for example. For applications in research and development (R&D), test signals up to 8 GHz can be distributed, which is particularly useful in laboratory set-ups.
