Data recorders
A data recorder is a device capable of capturing electrical or physical quantities, simultaneously or sequentially on a greater or lesser number of channels, for periods ranging from a few milliseconds to several months. The data are usually automatically recorded and saved on a hard disk for later use by visualization and analysis software.

The parameters defining a data recorder are, the number of simultaneous or sequential channels, the recording speed, the dynamic and the storage capacity, either in real time or in deferred time.
